The painting of Finn, a border collie, was done as a commission. When I do a commission I try to work from my own photographs because in the process of photographing the subject I form a relationship with them. That way while I'm painting I feel I can put the spirit of the animal or person into the artwork. "Finn" is available as either 8 X 10 or 11 X 14 matted giclee print.
