This painting was commissioned by a man for his wife who loves lavender hydrangeas. It took me almost 2 months to paint it, since each petal has several transparent layers of color on it as do the leaves. This is probably my most popular image. Available as a giclee' open edition reproduction. Printed on museum quality paper, it is available matted or unmatted.
