Shades
This was the first watercolor portrait I tried, and I chose a friend, a black man, because I thought the skin tones would be easier. I was pleased with the results and the portrait won Best of Show in the only competition I entered it in. Giclee' reproductions of this image are available in a matted 11 X 14 or 16 X 20.
